the other days i got my belt grinder from uwe doster. For me as a beginner it works perfect. the other one that i bought from a knivemaker here in austria, was not good, a horror. when you give preasure the band jumps 0,5'' when you want to change the wheels it takes about 20 minutes after everything works. OK now i have the new one. i was to economic because i need a contact wheel with 4'' diameter. and i have to let the axle change ( will get my millingmachine i hope so at christmastime)))) from my 10'' contact wheel.
In the background you see the old one ( that i never realy used). i set it up as a radius grinder, it works good.
